The festival
will take place from October 15-17 at International Convention Centre (ICC)
Brunei Darussalam organized by Islamic Calligraphy and Art Study Centre, Sultan
Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation (PPKKI-YSHHB) in cooperation with Islamic
Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) Republic of
Turkiye, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Kolej Universiti
Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB).
It’s time
for you to meet global expert calligraphers that won the Regional Competition
of Calligraphy in ASIA organized by IRCICA in Brunei Darussalam!
PPKKI-YSHHB
also will organize an Islamic Calligraphy Competition during the festival. All
registered participants are welcome to join the spontaneous competition,
exciting prizes awaits you!
An
International Calligraphy Exhibition will also take place where calligraphy
enthusiasts will have golden experience to get direct visual perception on
spectacular and exquisite calligraphy art showcase from all over the world
including IRCICA winner’s plate.
The big
festival will also feature master calligraphers from Malaysia, Indonesia,
Morocco and IRCICA Republic of Turkiye. Participant will have great opportunity
to learn the priceless knowledge of Islamic Calligraphy and Islamic Art theoretically
from them. In addition, there will be live interactive art that participant can
grab the chance to upgrade their skills and acquire its magnificent art
directly from the professional masters.
